About Us
We are a charity set up with a goal to reduce the loneliness and isolation of elderly people.
We mobilise student volunteers, using technology as an enabler to help elderly people become more connected.

Our aim is to connect with as many elderly people who would like to speak with one of our volunteers as we can - in care homes, residential sites or online.
Meet The Team
Our Trustees work with dedicated volunteers and interns to support those in need.

David Bland
Trustee
David is something of a serial retiree, having spent his career in computing and telecommunications in the UK, Europe and the USA, where he worked with the father of the internet, Vint Cerf. David's latest passion is bringing fibre broadband to rural communities.

David lives with his wife, Debbie, who works in the Royal United Hospital in Bath. They have two daughters, Laura and Jessica, who have helped make him an expert in FaceTiming!

Stephen Constant
Trustee
Stephen is semi-retired but finds plenty to keep himself busy, including travelling to far flung corners of the world, soon to be made even more extensive by having both his daughters and their families living abroad .
His professional background includes financial management consultancy, corporate governance and internal control, areas of great importance in the start up phase of Connecting Generations.
